Presentation of research work at NCBS MANOTSAVA 2025
Mr. Nitish Singh Jangwan presented his research poster, “Unveiling the Novel Multitarget Antidepressant Mechanisms of Ligustilide in Postpartum Depression,” at the Neuroscience Research Symposium (MANOTSAVA 2025) hosted by the Centre for Brain and Mind, National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS), Bengaluru, India on 10-11 November 2025.
Following competitive abstract screening, the work was selected for poster presentation, providing a platform to disseminate the findings to the neuroscience research community. The research was conducted and presented under the supervision and guidance of Dr. Devesh Tewari, highlighting our laboratory ongoing efforts toward understanding the multitarget neuropharmacological mechanisms of ligustilide for postpartum depression.

Mr. Nitish Singh Jangwan presented his research work titled “Himalayan Cheura Lipid-Based Butyrosomes for Ligustilide Delivery in Postpartum Depression” at the Emerging Science, Technology & Innovation Conclave (ESTIC-2025), held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, India on 3-5 November 2025.
Among 800+ participants, he was one of only 10 researchers selected to present in the Life Sciences/Health Sciences category, reflecting the scientific merit and competitive selection of the work. The research was conducted and presented under the supervision and guidance of Dr. Devesh Tewari, highlighting our laboratory ongoing efforts in developing indigenous lipid-based nanocarrier systems for targeted drug delivery in postpartum depression.
